Out of Hours Safeguarding Contact Information

If you are concerned about the safety or welfare of a child outside of school hours, including weekends or holiday periods, please contact your Local Authority Children’s Social Care team.

East Riding Children’s Emergency Duty Team (CEDT): Telephone 01482 393939 (Out of Hours).

If a child is in immediate danger, you should call the police on 999.

If you have any concerns regarding safeguarding whilst you are working in our school, then please speak to one of the designated people.

Any child protection concerns must be written down, dated and handed to the school’s Designated Safeguarding Lead or the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.

If a child speaks to you regarding a Child Protection issue, please do not ask any leading questions or promise secrecy regarding any information a child gives you.
